Black jade dagger scabbard slide with kui dragon, Western Han dynasty, China, 206 BC-8 AD. A dagger scabbard slide surmounted by a spirited kui dragon with its head twisted over the back of the body. There is some fine incising of the claws, spine and tail, and the face and details are simply carved.
