Jade reticulated huang dragon pendant, Warring States period, China, 475-221 BC. A jade reticulated huang pendant with two dragons, their heads turned facing each other, their tails intertwined. The edges of the huang are indented, the dragons have beards. 'Huang' is the name given to this shape. It would have been part of a set of pendants that would have been strung together to make an ornament to be hung from the waist or shoulders.
