Four altered jade asymmetrical slit-discs, Neolithic, Liangzhu culture, China, c3400-2200 BC.
Four altered jade asymmetrical slit-discs, Neolithic, Liangzhu culture, China, c3400-2200 BC. A set of four slit-disc rings of heavily calcified jade. Each disc is asymmetrical with a band broader on the side opposite the slit. Three of the discs fit one within the other suggesting they were carved out of the same piece.
