Jade openwork dragon plaque, Tang dynasty, China, 618-907. A white jade circular openwork dragon plaque. The dragon has three claws and a long snout and one leg crossing over the tail typical of the Tang dynasty. The legs and claws form most of the outer edge of the plaque.
