Bust of Mother Teresa, 1910-97, Albanian born nun and missionary, in the Gjirokastra Ethnographic Museum, on the site of the childhood home of Enver Hoxha, Albania's communist dictator 1944-85, Gjirokastra, Albania. The museum building was constructed in 1966 after the original house was destroyed by fire. Gjirokastra was settled by the Greek Chaonians, the Romans and Byzantines before becoming an Ottoman city in 1417. Its old town was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.
