Hellenistic Theatre, built 2nd century BC under the reign of Attala II, Pergamon, modern-day Bergama, Izmir, Turkey. The theatre seated 10,000 people and would have had a wooden stage which was erected for each performance. It is the steepest theatre of the ancient world and has 78 rows of seats in 3 horizontal sections.
