Altarpiece and pulpit in St Joseph's Chapel, Perpignan Cathedral, Perpignan, Pyrenees-Orientales, France. The 19th century altarpiece is in neogothic style and features statues of clerics and monastic founders including (left-right) St Sebastian, St Francis of Assisi, St Augustin, St Joseph holding the Christ child, St Antony, St Thomas Aquinus, St Germaine. The Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist of Perpignan, or Basilique-Cathedrale de Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Perpignan was begun in 1324 by King Sancho of Majorca in Catalan Gothic style, and later finished in the 15th century.
