Nave of the Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, built 1481-89 by Pietro Lombardo in Renaissance style, to house a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary, Venice, Italy. The nave culminates in an ornamental marble staircase between 2 pulpits leading to the altar, and has a barrel vaulted coffered ceiling with paintings of prophets, by Vincenzo dalle Destre and Lattanzio da Rimini.
