Stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings in Segovia Cathedral, Segovia, Spain, 2007. Artist: Samuel Magal
Stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings of the chapels in Segovia Cathedral (Catedral de Santa Maria or La Dama de las Catedrales Españolas), Segovia, Spain, 2007. The Roman Catholic Cathedral of Segovia is located in one corner of the Plaza Mayor, at the centre of the city. King Carlos V ordered its construction in 1525 to replace an earlier cathedral which had been destroyed during the War of the Comuneros. It was the last Gothic cathedral to be built in Spain.
