Turret 75 R05, a 75mm machine gun turret at the Ouvrage de Froideterre, a small fort holding 200 men with 2 machine gun turrets and 2 observation turrets, Verdun, Meuse, Lorraine, France. This replaced an earlier construction, Ouvrage A, built 1887-88. Froideterre protected the Meuse and the road to Montmedy and saw heavy bombardment in the Battle of Verdun in World War One.
