Wooden structure inside the conical roof of the Tour Jeanne d'Arc, rebuilt in the 19th century and restored in 1984, Rouen, Normandy, France. The Joan of Arc Tower was the donjon or keep and only remaining part of the Chateau de Rouen, built 1204 by Philippe Auguste or King Philip II of France. Joan of Arc was tried and tortured in this tower. It is a 3-storey building with one room per floor and a pointed roof. The Tour Jeanne-d'Arc is listed as a monument historique.
