Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, or Denkmal fur die ermordeten Juden Europas, a memorial in Berlin to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, designed by architect Peter Eisenman and engineer Buro Happold, opened in 2005, Friedrichstadt, Berlin, Germany. The monument consists of 2711 concrete stelae of different heights arranged in a grid over a sloping site and the information centre contains a list of the names of all known Jewish holocaust victims.
