Cathedral of San Salvador, 12th-14th century, Avila, Castile and Leon, Spain. Avila Cathedral is a strong, fortress-like cathedral adjoining the famous medieval city walls. The presbytery located in the wall and part of the walls oriented to the transept are Late Romanesque style.
