The Ascension window, with the Virgin and apostles witnessing Christ's ascension to heaven, 1136-58, stained glass window in the nave of the Cathedrale Saint-Julien du Mans or Cathedral of St Julian of Le Mans, Le Mans, Sarthe, Loire, France. The window depicting Jesus and the angels is no longer in place. The cathedral was built from the 6th to the 14th centuries, with both Romanesque and High Gothic elements.
