Sant Pere de Rodes, a Benedictine monastery on the Verdera mountain in the Sierra de Rodes, Puerto de la Selva, Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The monastery was founded in 945 by monks who escaped Barbarian invasions with relics of saints, and was eventually sacked in the 17th century and deserted in the 18th century.
