Pair of Kraak blue and white dishes with bird decoration, China, 1575-1600. Ming dynasty Kraak saucer dishes thinly potted with barbed rim outlined in blue. The interiors have circular medallions of orchids and a bee, surrounded by a stylised lotus pond with two ducks all in blue of silvery tone with darker highlights.
