Qingbai bowl with Ding style moulded peony sprays, Southern Song dynasty, China, 12th-13th century. A thinly potted porcelain bowl with small footrim and inverted mouthrim. The interior is decorated with moulded designs of peony sprays below double-line borders surrounding a single peony at the centre. The piece is covered by a bluish qingbai glaze. The exterior is undecorated while the mouth rim is unglazed.
