Dehua porcelain censer with string pattern, late Ming dynasty, China, 1600-1644. A blanc-de-chine three-legged straight-sided censer, the body of which is decorated with eight ridged concave bands. The whole piece is covered with a transparent creamy-white glaze except for the base and central part of the interior, which are unglazed.
