Silver filigree covered box with dragons and precious emblems, Qing Dynasty, China, late 18th century-early 19th century. An eight-lobed petal shaped silver filigree box. The top is decorated with two four-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl in the centre, surrounded in the outer panel with the Eight Precious Emblems in high relief. The sides and base have filigree work of delicate thin and thick silver wires.
