Terme di Caracalla (Baths of Caracalla), 212 - 217 AD, during the reign of Emperor Caracalla, Rome, Italy. The tall pillars on the foreground are the only two remaining pillars which were supporting the dome of the caldarium. The baths were functional for over 300 years and were the largest bath complex in the world.
