Court of the Lower Castle, Peyrepertuse Castle or Chateau Pierre Pertuse, Cathar Castle, Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse, Corbieres, Aude, France. The castle consists of a Lower Castle built by the Kings of Aragon in the 11th century and a High Castle built by Louis IX in the 13th century, joined by a huge staircase.
