Habited for rainy weather, The man standing wears a costume made of straw or millet, and a hat made of straw. The man seated smoking a pipe, wears a fur coat which could be reversed so the fur was worn inside. The man sheltering under an umbrella, made of oiled canvas, is a soldier, wearing 'undress'.
