Psalm 51; Virgin on her deathbed, [Whole folio] Psalm 51. Border decoration with two grotesques, including one in the outer margin with winged headgear. In the lower margin, the Virgin on her deathbed, attended by the apostles who hand her, or receive from her, a martyr's palm. Beside her is a maid in a doorway with curtains wrapped round its columns.The Virgin's head rests on cushions, but arranged to form a nimbus in the shape of the Star of David Image taken from Luttrell Psalter. Originally published/produced in England [East Anglia]; circa 1325-1335.
