The Sultan's bedroom being prepared with perfumes and flowers. Advice on the domestic use of perfume. Ghiyath Shahi is not present. His couch with a large cushion and two plates of (?) betel chews is in the centre under an awning. Other dishes and plates in the foreground together with flasks and jars. The section on the use of perfume in the house. Opaque watercolour. Sultanate style. Image taken from The Ni'matnama-i Nasir al-Din Shah. A manuscript on Indian cookery and the preparation of sweetmeats, spices etc. Originally published/produced in 1495 - 1505.
