The landing of a balloon. The inhabitants of Gonesse in France alarmed by the landing of a balloon on August 27. The details below the plate refer to Montgolfier, though it was Jacques Alexander Cesar Charles, assisted by the brothers, Aine and Cadet Robert, who released a hydrogen gas filled balloon on that day.
