A woman of Brabant, seated on a bank by the road side, was probable a traveller, as she had a staff and a large bundle lying on the ground by her side. She had stopped to eat. Image taken from The Costume of the Netherlands displayed in thirty coloured engravings after drawings from nature by Miss Semple; with descriptions in English and French. Originally published/produced in London, 1817.
