Ferro' windmill, Pla de San Jordi, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. This type of windmill was introduced in 1934 and is an adaptation of an American 'ramell' style windpump with an added tail. It is used for water pumping and this example is located near Palma airport. ('Ferro' means iron and 'ramell' means flower in the Majorcan language.)
