Kasbah of the Glaoua family, Telouet, High Atlas, Morocco. The fortress was begun in the 19th century as the residence Thami el Glaoui, 1879-1956, who was Pasha of Marrakech 1912-56. It sits at 1800m in the Atlas mountains on an ancient caravan route from the Sahara to Marrakech.
