Chronicle of England
Edward II being offered a crown, [Drawing only] Edward II sitting on a throne, with sceptre in left hand, and touching his crown with his right hand. A small figure (possibly a personification of Wales) offers him another crown (probably the crown of Scotland). It is thought that the second figure is an allegory for Wales (which Edward II was the prince of) and is encouraging him to attack Scotland, which Edward did later in his reign.
