Translation of St. Benedict
Translation of St Benedict [Whole folio] Preface to the blessing for the Feast of St Benedict 11 July. St Benedict is enthroned under a curtained arch with the background either side filled with architectural motifs. He has a golden fillet representing the crown of life round his head and is dressed in Mass vestments. He holds a golden book presumably his Rule on his knee and proffers a golden crown.
