Seal of Robert II of Scotland [Obverse of seal] Impression of the seal of King Robert II of Scotland. The king enthroned with crown fleury of five leaves holds a sceptre terminating with a foliated ornament his left hand on his breaSt Above a richly carved gothic canopy the centre part terminating in a hexagonal turret. On each side a watchman or man-at-arms in armour leans forward below which is an arched niche with an eagle supporting a shield of the royal arms of Scotland. Originally published/produced in Scotland; 1386.
