Ravana sends out more forces
Ravana sends out more forces, Ravana is overwhelmed by grief on hearing of his eldest and last remaining son's death. Then furious with rage, he rushes with his upraised sword to the asoka grove vowing to kill Sita, who calmly awaits her fate, but he is restrained by his minister Suparsva. In order to soften up Rama for his entry into the battlefield in the morning, he decides to send out his army yet again to the accompaniment of war-drums and trumpets being beaten and blown, while his own bow is made ready.
