The home of Prince Frederick Henry
The home of Prince Frederick Henry of Nassau, Depiction of the home of the most august and serene Prince Frederick Henry of Nassau, Prince of Orange, which is Honselaarsdijk (ca. 1640). This bird's-eye view shows William III's grandfather, Prince Frederick Henry, in a carriage borne by six horses, just about to cross the moat in front of the splendid country house at Honselaarsdijk. There is a ground-plan of the house and its gardens at the top right. The garden is enclosed by bushes and the main axis runs parallel to the front of the house.
