Alexander Izmailov, Alexander Kuprin and Alexei Budishchev, Russian authors, early 20th century. Izmailov (1873-1921) and Budishchev (1867-1921) at the house of Kuprin (centre) (1870-1938). Kuprin was a short story writer described by Vladimir Nabokov as the Russian Kipling. He is probably best remembered for The Duel (1905). Found in the collection of the State Museum of AS Pushkin, Moscow.
