London Zoo, Regents Park, Westminster, 1929. Line drawing entitled The Gardens of the Zoological Society of London 1929 and the Gardens 1829 (inset). Probably produced to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Charter. The 1929 version shows elephant rides, visitors and the layout of animal enclosures mostly populated with the various creatures in residence. Inscribed by the early 20th century illustrator RB Brook-Greaves, who designed the Whipsnade White Lion.
