doucai cup with flat bottom and flaring sides decorated in doucai enamels with two figures in a landscape (probably he he er xian, the heavenly twins). The base has a six character mark of Chenghua (1465-1487) in a rectangular double lined border cartouche. The writing of the mark is typical of the writing of the Chenghua mark as found in the late Kangxi period (1700-1722).
