Pier Head, Liverpool, Merseyside, July 1964. Aerial photograph of the Prince's Dock and Prince's Landing Stage, with the Three Graces beyond. This landing stage adjoining Prince's Parade was used by the transatlantic liner service before it was scrapped in 1973. The adjoining George's Landing Stage remains and is still used by the Mersey Ferry. Liverpool pop group Gerry and the Pacemakers had a hit with Ferry Cross the Mersey in 1964.
