Kirby Hall, near Corby, Northamptonshire, c2000s(?). View from north gate of the forecourt to the north elevation of the house. Kirby Hall was one of the finest houses built in the 17th century. Begun in 1570 by Sir Humphrey Stafford, it was completed by Sir Christopher Hatton, Lord Chancellor to Elizabeth I.
