'Imambara, Lucknow', c1900. The Hussainabad Imambara or Chota Imambara stands near the Bara Imambara complex in Lucknow, the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was built by Muhammad Ali Shah, Abul Fateh Moin-ud-din (b.c1777-1842), the third Nawab of Awadh in 1838, and became a mausoleum to him and his mother, who is buried beside him.
