'Bombay-Poona Mail, Great Indian Peninsula Railway', c1900. Mumbai-Pune Mail (started as Bombay-Poona Mail) was a luxurious train on the Mumbai-Pune section by the Great Indian Peninsula Railway. The Great Indian Peninsula Railway was incorporated on 1st August 1849 by an act of the British Parliament.
