Cist, Bronze Age, (c1990-2010). Drixxle Combe. A reconstruction drawing of the ossuary burial cist. Drizzlecombe or Thrushelcombe is an area of Dartmoor in the county of Devon, England. The area contains a number of Bronze Age stone rows, cairns and menhirs, most of which are on the southwest slope of Hartor Hill. A cist is a small stone-built coffin-like box or ossuary used to hold the bodies of the dead.
