A blue and white circular stem cup, its sides flaring from an almost horizontal plane. There is a short solid stem with a flange near the top, the stem flaring slightly at the bottom. The stem, the flange and the cup are decorated with underglaze blue single line borders except at the rim where a double line border is present. The cup itself is decorated with two scholars, one seated by a rock and the other dancing and playing an accordion-like instrument in a landscape setting with clouds above. The blue is of a blackish tone and the glaze has many bubbles. The centre of the interior has a sketchily drawn character in underglaze blackish-blue in a single line medallion. The rim of the interior also has a single line in underglaze blue.
