'St Stephen Walbrook, The Steeple', mid-late 19th century. One of a set of views of baroque London churches. St Stephen Walbrook is a church in the City of London, part of the Church of England's Diocese of London. The medieval church previously on the site was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666. The present building was constructed in 1672-1679 to a design by Christopher Wren (1632-1723).
