'Marriage of the King of Portugal, by Proxy, with the Princess Stephanie of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen', 29 April 1858. Princess Stephanie (1837-1859) married King Peter V of Portugal (1837-1861) by proxy in Berlin, Germany, her eldest brother Leopold standing in for the groom.
