Fan Vaulting in Canterbury Cathedral, Kent, England, 20th century. Canterbury Cathedral is one of the oldest and most famous Christian structures in England.  It was largely rebuilt in the Gothic style following a fire in 1174.  The oldest bell in the cathedral is Bell Harry, cast by Joseph Hatch in 1635, and struck every day at 8am and 9pm hangs in the crossing tower (1493-1505). with fan vaulting.
