Red Army commanders Semyon Timoshenko, Semyon Budyonny and Kliment Voroshilov, 1920. During the Russian Civil War. Timoshenko (1895-1970) served under the command of Budyonny (1883-1973) in the Red 1st Cavalry Army during the conflict, with Voroshilov (1881-1969) as the army's polical commissar. All three men were made Marshals of the Soviet Union, Budyonny and Voroshilov in 1935 and Timoshenko in 1940. Found in the collection of the Russian State Film and Photo Archive, Krasnogorsk.
