Trial of the French pro-Nazi author Robert Brasillach, Paris, 1945. A supporter of fascism since 1934, Brasillach edited an anti-semitic newspaper, Je suis partout, during the Nazi occupation of France. He also supported the German occupation of Vichy France and signed a 1944 document calling for the summary execution of all members of the French Resistance. Arrested afte Paris fell to the Allies, he was convicted of cooaboration and executed by firing squad on 6 February 1945.
