British submarine E-13 in the Baltic to assist the Russians, World War I, 1915. E-13 ran aground off Saltholm in the waters of neutral Denmark on 9 August 1915. While grounded she was shelled by German torpedo boats. The submarine was damaged and had to be abandoned. 15 of her crew were killed in the attack. A print from Le Pays de France, 9 September 1915.
