Museum of the Cathedral: the Ariberto crucifix. The large embossed crucifix in copper foil and gilded brass is a masterpiece of late Ottonian metalworks. It was made in ca. 1040 for the burial site of Bishop of the Carroccio, Ariberto da Intimiano, at the monastery of San Dionigi.
