“Gioiello di Vicenza” ["Jewel of Vicenza"], reproduction of the famous model of the city of Vicenza made in 1578 as an ex-voto for the Madonna di Monte Berico invoking the protection against yet another outbreak of the plague. Destroyed by the Napoleonic troops in 1797. The original was made by Maestro Cesare Capobianco and perhaps inspired by the famous Andrea Palladio. This modern reproduction was made between 2009 and 2013.
